The following rates, charges, and policies are prescribed for the customers in the area served by Hometown Utility District. All other rates, charges, and policies not specifically mentioned herein shall remain the same as those in effect under authority of the Commission prior to the effective date of these Orders.

A Fifty dollar ($50.00) security deposit is required on all accounts for at least the first year of service or possibly longer depending on the payment history of the applicant (additional information can be obtained by contacting our office). A reconnection fee will be required in addition to the security deposit if the water service has been disconnected at the property.
Kentucky Regulation require a plumbing permit for the establishment of all new water meter settings. A homeowners permit may be obtain for a property owner who request a new tap on – new meter setting and is willing to install the line form their new meter to their existing plumbing.
Commercial, rental, and services which will or may be available to the public require a plumbing permit which must be obtained by as licensed plumber.
